Is Hasbro Pulse Premium worth it?

By Britton Jewell · Last updated

Short answer: it pays for itself on shipping if you place about seven Hasbro Pulse orders under $75 in a year. Orders over $75 already ship free for everyone, so if you usually spend more than that per order, the shipping perk is worth little to you. Then it comes down to the other two perks: bigger discounts during member sales, and a head start on convention exclusives and restocks.

What you get for $50

It lasts 12 months from the day you buy it and is open to U.S. and Canadian customers 16 or older. The perks start right away, as long as you're logged in, and don't apply to orders you placed before joining.

The shipping math

Non-members pay $7.99 for standard shipping, per Pulse's shipping page. But Pulse's product listings currently say shipping is free for everyone on "orders over $75 (excluding HasLabs)." So Premium only saves you money on orders under $75:

Orders under $75 in a yearShipping you'd pay without PremiumVersus $50
3$23.97You lose $26.03
6$47.94You lose $2.06
7$55.93You save $5.93
12$95.88You save $45.88

A single figure is usually well under $75. Marvel Legends and G.I. Joe Classified figures are around $28 on Pulse right now. If you buy one or two figures at a time, seven orders a year comes fast. If you wait and order $75 or more at once, you get free shipping without Premium. Taxes on the $50 are extra.

Member sales

Pulse doesn't publish a sale calendar, but its big sales have given members a larger discount. During the June 2024 Power Days sale, Premium members got 35% off $75 or more of eligible items and everyone else got 15%, according to Yakface Forums' sale coverage. On a $100 order, that gap is $20, almost half the membership. Sales come and go, so don't count on a specific one when you decide.

Early access

This perk is most useful for convention exclusives and figures that sold out and come back. In October 2025, Premium members could order two Star Wars convention exclusives in a one-hour window, and preorders opened to everyone else on November 3 (Yakface Forums). Pulse also posts back-in-stock items "most Fridays," and members can get first access to some of those. Purchase limits still apply to members. HasLab shipping: the pages disagree

HasLab crowdfunds carry a shipping surcharge at checkout. Pulse's shipping page says that surcharge "is waived for Hasbro Pulse Premium Members." The Premium terms say "free standard shipping does not apply to HasLab campaigns." Check the specific campaign page and your checkout total before you count on it.
